• Prevention of Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP): Personnel who provide respiratory therapy for ventilated patients offer the most comprehensive care and infection prevention practices for the daily assessment of ventilator needs.
• Prevention of Catheter-associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI): The hospital has physicians and/or nurse champions offering evidence-based clinical care to reduce the rate of CAUTI using strict aseptic techniques when inserting the catheter.
• Prevention of Central Line-associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI): Patients with central venous catheters are assessed with a daily checklist for insertion and maintenance for CVC as part of the Care bundle.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Under this program, we adhere to offer supplies necessary for personal protective equipment (such as gowns, gloves, eye, mouth, nose, and face protection), specifically recommended under Standard and Transmission-based Precautions. • Perform Hand hygiene- because the best care begins with clean hands

Hand hygiene is the best defense against infection. Make sure to use our facilities to wash your hands before visiting the patient and use hand sanitizer from the dispenser placed near you.

• Avoid visiting the patient if you are not well.

It is advisable not to visit the patient if you are not well or suffering from common flu, viral fever, diarrhea, or any other infection.

• Cover your mouth and nose while sneezing

A visitor must avoid sneezing near the patient and must cover his/her mouth and nose while sneezing to reduce the chances of spreading the infection.

• It is strictly prohibited for visitors/relatives to eat or drink near the patient

The hospital has an ultramodern cafeteria with a wide sitting area and a great ambiance. Kindly use that to sit and eat your meal.

• Avoid using the patient's washroom

The hospital has separate and clean toilets for visitors. It is requested to use public facilities and avoid using patient washrooms.

• It is strictly prohibited to send flowers or bring outside food for patients

Sending flowers for patients or bringing food for them inside the ward is strictly not allowed. We have a legal duty to comply with the demands of the Food Safety Act and take the safety, handling, composition, packing, and hygiene of food delivered in our care to patients very seriously.
