The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital is a part of the Centre for Critical Care. It is one of the most advanced cardiac intensive care units offering the highest level of care to patients with cardiac and other medical conditions like a multi-system failure or postoperative management.
Our unit is equipped with advanced facilities such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), ventricular assist devices (VAD), electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and chest X-rays offering comprehensive care to critically ill cardiac patients with comorbidities. We have a multidisciplinary team of cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac anaesthesiologists, intensivists, and intensive care experts who follow a 'Heart Team' approach and work in synergy for delivering the best possible treatment plan with better outcomes.
The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit offers round-the-clock emergency care to people with serious cardiac conditions like angina, artery conditions, rhythm disorder,control heart condition, and heart failure, but conjointly to people who are suffering from rare types of heart diseases.
