World Liver Day

Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital proudly organized a Walkathon on April 21st in celebration of World Liver Day. This event was aimed to promote liver health by engaging senior community members and key opinion leaders of the society. The event also highlighted the courage of organ donors and their families, showcasing that a normal, healthy life is possible even after liver transplantation.

Key Highlights:

  • Celebrated filmmaker Mr. Rajkumar Hirani and esteemed screenwriter Mr. Abhijat Joshi launched the FibroScan 630 Expert—one of the most advanced, non-invasive technologies for liver disease assessment in India. The event was graced by Dr. Chetan Kalal, Program Director – Hepatology & Transplant Medicine; Dr. Anurag Shrimal, Director, Transplant Surgery; Dr. Anil Singh, Director - Liver Transplant, Anaesthesia and Critical Care; Dr. Vibhor Borkar, Director - Paediatric Hepatology & Gastroenterology; and Dr. Deepak Patkar, Director – Medical Services.
  • Radio personality RJ Sudarshan, from RadioCity 91.1, and actress Aditi Gautam, known for her roles in ‘Neninthe’ (Telugu) and ‘Sanju,’ (Hindi) presided over the donor felicitation ceremony. They honored the courageous group of organ donors alongside the doctors of Nanavati Max Institute of Liver, Pancreas and Intestine Transplantation.
